Mailing lists :
There are 3 mailing lists to coordinate communication and efforts around AfterStep:
Users mailing list
The purpose of the users list is to provide a forum in which to discuss issues
related to using AfterStep. Appropriate topics include, but are not limited to,
the installation and configuration of AfterStep and related modules and
applications. Only members of the mailing list can post, and only from their
subscribed email addresses.
Bug reports mailing list
The purpose of the bug reports list is to follow up bugs that require
technical explanations not fit for the users mailing list.
Developers mailing list
The purpose of the developers list is to discuss development ideas in an open forum
which encourages brainstorming and new ideas from diversified areas.
The purpose of this list is not to answer questions about installation, as this
is what the users list is for.
This mailing list also sends notifications of CVS commits to the project
repository.
This is ideal to closely follow the development of AfterStep,
learn how new functionalities are implemented and how bugs are fixed.
